Texting While Walking: Dangerous or Not?

We've all been there—stuck behind someone hesitantly plodding along the sidewalk, head buried in their phone.

We've seen people completely spaced out in line at the grocery store, completely oblivious because their attention is focused on a phone or tablet.

It's annoying, sure. But does our constant absorption in technology pose a danger to ourselves—or people unfortunate enough to cross our path?

How Do I Pay for My Medical Costs

You may have a lot of questions as you come out of the emergency room or doctor’s office after an accident. You wonder how you’re going to pay those medical bills.

You actually wonder if that’s your responsibility in the first place, since you weren’t at fault. The first thing to know is that a personal injury case can be a lengthy process.

Will We Settle or Go to Court?

Nearly every personal injury victim asks the same question: will you settle my case or go to court?

While some cases are settled before they hit trial, it is important that some cases make it all the way to the trial process. Insurance companies know which firms settle and which ones will take you to court. This plays a large part in the amount they may offer you.

What is a Mediation?

In many types of cases, you may not know that there are other options besides going to court and having to sit through a trial with a judge and jury.

While some cases lead to trial, others are settled during the process by the attorneys or by an act called mediation.
