In less than 10 days, another tractor-trailer collides with a vehicle in Hampton Roads, this time in Virginia Beach

Right after 1:30 a.m. this morning, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Bayside and Diamond Springs Roads in Virginia Beach to respond to an accident. Police shared that a 2006 Mack tractor and sand trailer headed north on Diamond Springs Road entered the intersection of Bayside Road with a green traffic signal when a 2014 Nissan Rogue traveling westbound struck the landing gear of the empty sand trailer. The passengers in the 2014 Nissan Rogue sustained life-threatening injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
