- Toyota - condenser unit housing, airbag technology, corroding spare tires, and unattended acceleration
- Honda - Takata airbag inflators, brake boosters, pistons, and a few others
The Takata airbag recall may end up affecting millions of vehicles across the country, especially as testing determines whether or not humidity really affects these airbags or not. Takata believes that humidity is the factor that can cause the airbags to explode, however, there have been deaths and injuries in non-humid states already. As further testing is done, the recall may extend to millions more vehicles in the near future.
